This collection of graduate work was curated by Jakub and Lily who chose their favourite pieces as part of a visit with ACES Edinburgh.
ACES is a Widening Participation programme for eligible S4 to S6 students at state secondary schools in the south-east of Scotland who are interested in studying a visual creative subject such as art, design or architecture. It offers events and activities to help young people better understand the careers within the Creative Industries and make successful applications to university. "I loved the softness of these paintings, and the ghostly way the figures appear, as if part of the environment, connected to each other."
