Robin Bigret’s work in sculpture and installation investigates industrially scarred landscapes and the objects found within them. Traditional metal fabrication and casting techniques alongside digital manufacturing methods are employed for investigation, documentation and sometimes intervention within the forest. Often temporally afflicted, his work calls attention to the ‘tooth of time’ by allowing the viewer to project their viewing experience beyond the present moment.
